Iran Zilou features gorgeous patterns

Persian Zilou or rough rug (fabric) is made of cotton thread and comes in various sizes and patterns.

The hand-woven rugs decorate the mosque floors with smaller portions of Zilou fabric are used as a cover for different items such as bags and cups.

Yazd, a UNESCO-inscribed city in Iran, boasts Zilou weaving art practiced in this region for several centuries.
